Many people don’t choose to see cancer as an adventure. But cancer asked me to choose.

It required me to be creative, to adjust my thinking and to be fully engaged. It demanded I be in dialogue with my ever-shifting body; it wanted me to listen, accept, release and feel gratitude. It wanted me to love, no matter the course we took or the outcome and end result.

It was an opportunity to utilise what I had been cultivating all along - without even realising it.

Fortunately I had discovered quite young that inner peace, freedom and joy all come from the power of choice. As does struggle. More >
